Our church is located on 36 country acres in northwest McKinney
providing a large and beautiful location for
The Great Egg Hunt.
In addition to eggs and more eggs,
kids and families together can walk into the butterfly tent,
hold a baby chick or baby goat,
go on a hayride,
and stroll through The Passion Walk.
Eggs are good! But Hope is even better.
For this reason The Great Egg Hunt starts with Super Church at 10:30 AM.
While parents and grandparents enjoy an uplifting Easter Worship Service celebrating the Hope of Easter, children will learn about and receive their very own Resurrection Eggs during Super Church. They will come away knowing the true Easter Story of Jesus paying the penalty for our sins.
3 acre Egg Hunt
The hunt begins immediately after the worship service (just before noon). There is a large field for toddlers and an even larger field filled with eggs for grade schoolers. Bring your own basket or use one of our large Easter bags. Our eggs are filled with candy and fun prizes.
Walk in to the tent, dip your finger in the sugar water and wait for a butterfly to land directly in your hand. Parents will love the great photo op.
Enjoy the peaceful country surroundings as families ride together on trailer pulled by a tractor.
At Easter we celebrate the new life we have in Jesus Christ. What better way to celebrate than by holding a baby chick?
Each step along The Passion Walk is designed to immerse you in the events preceding the resurrection of Jesus Christ. A printed guide will help you reflect and discover how the truths of Christ’s life, death and resurrection impact your life today.
The Passion Walk is first offered on Palm Sunday, April 14th. At the end of the 10:30 AM worship service we will walk outside to witness a live donkey walk past our children, who are holding palm branches.
Our church is located on 36 country acres in northwest McKinney, Texas. We worship in a newly constructed country chapel. The old homestead now houses our church offices.
The farmhouse porch provides the backdrop for the Upper Room. The garden is under the large sycamore tree. Walk across the bridge to the century-old barn where a live rooster will help you identify with Peter’s denial. A scourging post and the bowl Pilot washed his hands in give a fresh appreciation of Christ’s suffering. Feel the agony and love of Jesus as you stand at the foot of the cross. Walk down to the edge of the creek and smell the burial spices where the scene of the tomb is located.
