Updated March 24, 3:00 PM
We have suspended Sunday Morning Life Groups and Wednesday Evening Bible Studies until further notice.
This Sunday we are holding our first drive-in worship service at 10:30 AM. We are so excited that we have come up with a way for 100 percent of us to be able to worship together and at the same time meet all CDC and Health Department requirements. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday.
If you are unable to attend, we will also live-stream on Facebook: Facebook Live-stream.
Audio of the sermons are on the on the sermon page.
Sermons are also uploaded to our YouTube Page.

Dear Church Family,
What a beautiful worship service Sunday. The choice in praise songs ministered so much to us. God’s timing of my sermon from John 14, “Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled,” was further evidence that He was not caught off guard by any of this. Most of you joined us via Facebook Live. I trust you heard my specific words to you at the very end of the service.
As your shepherd under our Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ, I am compelled to make sure we do not scatter or that anyone lose heart during this unique situation caused by COVID 19. Christ instructs us, “Let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” (Hebrews 10:24, 25). The Greek word “ekklesia” where we get our word church literally means, “gathering together.” The most natural understanding of this is believers gathering in person at God’s house on the Lord’s day which is Sunday.
A commitment to gather as a church body is more crucial than many may realize. It is not simply a social gathering. It is a holy calling and command. Being intentional to gather to worship each and every Sunday creates a priority of worship. Without that priority we will fall out of the habit and other activities will replace our Sunday morning worship time. Our commitment to Christ will suffer and our ability to minister to each other will suffer.
As a family church, we have beautiful options allowing us to meet together. This Sunday we will hold a drive-in worship service. Parking lot attendants will hand you a worship folder as you arrive and will space our cars six feet apart. During the greeting time we can wave to each other from inside our cars. Or we can step out of our cars for the greeting time and share a word of encouragement to other brothers and sisters who have gathered while maintaining 6 feet between us. Ushers will come to our cars to collect our tithes and offerings. We are purchasing necessary sound equipment and members of our sound team are putting in a lot of extra hours this week to make this possible. There are a lot of issues to work out and things may not run perfectly this Sunday, but we will be worshiping our awesome God together with no chance of getting COVID 19! Praise the Lord!!
I appeal to you as your Pastor, make the effort to be here for our 10:30 AM worship service. Let’s put a smile on Christ’s face and encourage one another with a hundred percent turnout for church this Sunday in the parking lot. This plan meets all the CDC and Collin County Health Department guidelines including the most recent “stay home, stay safe” guidelines issued by County Judge Chris Hill on Tuesday morning and at the same time we are obeying Christ’s command to “ekklesia” “gather” together. Again, I encourage you to check the church website for updates and watch your emails.
In service to the peace giver, Jesus Christ,
Pastor Jeff Nyberg, Ph.D.
